The VR4VET Construction VR app simulates a construction warehouse equipped with materials, tools, and safety gear. Users can practice tasks like building a wooden frame wall—adding insulation, housewrap, and vapor barriers—and assembling roof layers by understanding structures and laying tiles.
The application can be used as supplementary material for the end users integrated into the career guidance and vocational education practice. The application is openly distributed free of charge. When in the application, the user takes the role of a trainee at various workplaces in the construction sector. The user is introduced to the professions and can engage in typical workplace tasks.
